This Privacy Policy describes the current website practices of Believer’s International Ministries, including contact details, prayer requests, mailing-list subscriptions, donation inquiries, testimonies, and information involving minors.
What this website collects
Browsing information and downloading teaching PDFs do not require a form or email address. The mailing-list, prayer-request, and testimony forms submit information to the ministry’s hosted database only when you select Submit and provide the required consent.
Other ministry-request, serving-interest, giving-inquiry, and Next Steps forms still provide local review only. They do not send information to administration or create database records. Each form identifies its current behavior.
Hosting services may process IP addresses, browser details, and request logs to deliver and secure this website. Provider-controlled logs have separate retention practices. The website uses signed form cookies that expire after 15 minutes and short-lived, hashed rate-limit records to reduce automated abuse; these are not marketing subscriptions or tracking profiles.
Contact details, prayer & testimony information
Mailing list: We collect your email address, optional name, selected topics, and consent date/version. Records are organized in the ministry’s subscriber list. Consent is not preselected. Registration does not independently verify ownership of the email address. Newsletter and confirmation-email delivery are not yet connected.
Prayer requests: We collect your request, optional name and email, follow-up preference, and selected handling option. Requests enter a private review area accessible to the website owner. Administration-only requests must not be shared with a prayer team. If you allow an anonymized summary, administration must remove identifying details and review it before any sharing. This website does not share requests automatically or publish them.
Testimonies: We collect your story, topic, optional contact details, private-review consent, and separate publication permission and attribution choice. Stories remain private until publication consent and ministry approval are both recorded. Choosing private review does not permit public use. Contact administration to withdraw publication consent or request removal.
Donation inquiries: The giving support and statement-request forms currently provide local review only. Giving buttons open the ministry’s Tithe.ly form, which handles payments under its own terms. This website does not collect card numbers or bank credentials. Contact administration about receipts and ministry contribution-record retention.
Retention & protection
Subscriber records remain in the list while subscribed. Unsubscribing changes the status to suppressed and removes the address from active-subscriber exports; the consent and suppression record remains to help avoid unwanted resubscription. Contact administration if you want that record deleted or corrected.
Unpublished prayer requests and testimony submissions older than 90 days are removed during subsequent form or administration processing. Archived records are removed after 30 days when that processing next runs. Approved public testimony stories and their associated private consent records remain available until administration unpublishes or removes them. Publication permission can be withdrawn by contacting the ministry.
Contact information and private submission content are encrypted before database storage. Database access is restricted to the server, and administration routes require the website owner’s authenticated account. The site uses HTTPS, parameterized database queries, origin checks, form validation, and submission rate limits. No service can guarantee absolute security.
Other local-review form entries are not saved by the site. Your browser may independently remember or restore entries; clear fields and close the page on a shared device. Information shared directly with BIM by telephone or in person is handled outside this website; ask administration about access, retention, and confidentiality before providing sensitive details.
Children, parents & guardians
Connected forms are intended for adults, including parents or legal guardians making a family inquiry. Children should not submit information themselves. Do not enter a child’s birth date, home address, school, medical records, or identification details in general forms. Use the adult’s contact information for follow-up.
The public testimony submission pathway is for adults and does not accept stories identifying a minor. Participation and media consent for children must be addressed separately through the ministry’s approved process. Read Youth Safeguarding & Volunteer Screening; a website acknowledgment does not conduct a background check or approve a volunteer.
Your choices & unsubscribe
After mailing-list registration, the site provides a private preferences link. Save that link to change topics or unsubscribe from all emails without signing in. Anyone with the link can control that subscription, so keep it secure. The site does not send confirmation emails yet. If you lose the link, call administration for help; no account access or record release should occur without appropriate verification.
We do not automatically sell or publish form entries, prayer requests, or private stories. Subscriber exports are available only to the website owner for the ministry’s mailing-list administration and must be kept secure. They include private unsubscribe links for inclusion in any future newsletters.
Facebook, Tithe.ly, and other external links open services with their own information practices. No Facebook video player loads automatically on this site. Contact administration for access, corrections, removal requests, or a change in your prayer-handling preference.
