Our Statement of Faith
Building Believers. Establishing Kingdom Authority. Impacting Nations.
Our Declaration of Faith
At Believers International Ministries, we believe that the Church of Jesus Christ has been called to more than religious observance. We are called to live in covenant relationship with God, mature in the knowledge of His Word, demonstrate the power of the Holy Spirit, and advance the Kingdom of God throughout the earth.
Our faith is founded upon the authority of Scripture, the redemptive work of Jesus Christ, and the continuing ministry of the Holy Spirit. We believe that every believer is called to spiritual maturity, godly character, faithful service, and the fulfillment of God's divine purpose.
As a ministry committed to building believers, establishing Kingdom authority, and impacting nations, we embrace the following biblical truths as the foundation of our faith, teaching, worship, discipleship, and ministry.
ARTICLE I — THE HOLY SCRIPTURES
The Divine Inspiration, Authority, and Sufficiency of God's Word
We believe that the Holy Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God and the authoritative revelation of His character, nature, will, purposes, and redemptive plan for humanity.
We believe that the Scriptures were written by human authors under the inspiration and direction of the Holy Spirit and that they provide the foundational standard for Christian faith, doctrine, spiritual discernment, moral conduct, and righteous living.
We affirm that the Word of God is living, powerful, and transformative. Through the Scriptures, God reveals His divine principles, establishes His covenant promises, communicates His expectations, and instructs His people in the ways of righteousness.
We believe that Scripture must be faithfully studied, correctly interpreted, consistently taught, and practically applied. No personal revelation, spiritual experience, prophetic utterance, tradition, or human philosophy may supersede or contradict the written Word of God.
Furthermore, we believe that spiritual maturity is developed through the continual renewal of the mind by God's Word. The believer must move beyond merely hearing Scripture to becoming a faithful doer of the Word, allowing biblical truth to govern personal decisions, relationships, character, conduct, and service.
As a ministry, we are committed to sound biblical teaching, doctrinal integrity, scriptural accountability, and the development of believers who are firmly established in truth.
Scriptural Foundation:
- 2 Timothy 3:16–17 — The inspiration and usefulness of Scripture.
- 2 Peter 1:20–21 — The Holy Spirit's involvement in the communication of God's Word.
- Hebrews 4:12 — The living and powerful nature of God's Word.
- Psalm 119:105 — The Word as a lamp and light.
- John 17:17 — Sanctification through divine truth.
- James 1:22 — The necessity of becoming doers of the Word.
ARTICLE II — THE ONE TRUE AND LIVING GOD
The Sovereignty, Nature, and Eternal Government of God
We believe in one true, living, eternal, and sovereign God, who is the Creator, Sustainer, and rightful Governor of heaven and earth.
We believe that God has revealed Himself in Scripture as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is eternal, self-existent, infinite in wisdom, unlimited in power, perfect in holiness, and unchanging in His divine nature and character.
God is the source of all life, truth, righteousness, justice, mercy, goodness, and love. His authority is supreme, His purposes are eternal, and His Kingdom is everlasting.
We believe that God created humanity for fellowship with Him and for the fulfillment of His divine purposes in the earth. Through covenant relationship, obedience, worship, and faith, believers are called to acknowledge His lordship and submit every area of life to His will.
We affirm that God's Kingdom represents His sovereign rule, authority, righteousness, and divine order. His government establishes the standard by which His people are called to live.
We believe that the Church is commissioned to proclaim His Kingdom, demonstrate His character, and reflect His righteousness in the world.
As believers, we acknowledge that spiritual authority originates with God and must always operate in submission to His Word, His will, and His divine purposes.
Scriptural Foundation:
- Deuteronomy 6:4 — The oneness of God.
- Genesis 1:1 — God as Creator.

ARTICLE III — JESUS CHRIST: THE SON OF GOD, SAVIOR, AND LORD
His Divine Nature, Redemptive Work, Resurrection, and Lordship
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, the Word made flesh, and the only Savior and Redeemer of humanity.
We affirm His divine nature, miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit, virgin birth, sinless life, authoritative teaching, miraculous ministry, sacrificial death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, and continuing ministry as our great High Priest and intercessor.
We believe that Jesus Christ came into the world to reveal the Father, proclaim the Kingdom of God, destroy the works of the devil, reconcile humanity to God, and provide salvation through His finished work upon the cross.
Through His death, Jesus bore the penalty of sin and made reconciliation with God available to all who repent and place their faith in Him. Through His resurrection, He demonstrated His victory over sin and death, establishing the foundation of eternal life for all who believe.
We affirm that Jesus Christ is not merely a teacher, prophet, or example of righteousness, but the risen Lord, the Head of the Church, and the One to whom all authority in heaven and earth has been given.
We believe that His lordship calls every believer to a life of surrender, obedience, discipleship, and conformity to His character.
We further affirm that Jesus Christ remains the central focus of the Church's message, ministry, worship, and mission. No individual, institution, spiritual gift, or ministerial office may take the place of His supreme authority.
Scriptural Foundation:
- John 1:1–14 — The eternal Word becoming flesh.
- Isaiah 7:14 — The prophetic promise of the virgin birth.
- Luke 1:34–35 — The miraculous conception of Jesus.

ARTICLE IV — THE HOLY SPIRIT
His Person, Presence, Power, Gifts, and Transforming Work
We believe in the Holy Spirit as fully divine and actively present in the life of the Church and every believer in Jesus Christ.
We affirm that the Holy Spirit convicts humanity of sin, reveals the truth concerning Jesus Christ, brings about spiritual regeneration, indwells believers, and empowers them to live in holiness and obedience to God.
We believe that the Holy Spirit serves as Comforter, Counselor, Teacher, Helper, and Guide, leading believers into truth and producing the character of Christ within them.
We affirm the continuing operation of the spiritual gifts described in Scripture, including wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, various kinds of tongues, and interpretation of tongues, as the Holy Spirit sovereignly distributes them.
We believe that the gifts and operations of the Spirit are given for the edification of the Church, the advancement of God's purposes, and the demonstration of His grace and power. These gifts must function in love, humility, spiritual maturity, biblical order, and accountability.
We also believe in the empowering work of the Holy Spirit for bold witness, effective ministry, spiritual discernment, intercession, and service.
We recognize that spiritual power and spiritual character must operate together. The manifestation of spiritual gifts never removes the believer's responsibility to cultivate the fruit of the Spirit, demonstrate integrity, or remain accountable to biblical truth.
We affirm that the Holy Spirit continues to equip the Church for its divine assignment, empowering believers to proclaim the Gospel, minister to human needs, resist the works of darkness, and glorify Jesus Christ.

ARTICLE V — HUMANITY, SIN, SALVATION, AND REDEMPTION
The New Birth and Restoration of Relationship With God
We believe that humanity was created in the image and likeness of God, possessing inherent dignity, value, and a divine purpose.
We affirm that through sin, humanity became separated from God and stands in need of forgiveness, redemption, and reconciliation.
We believe that salvation is made possible solely through the grace of God and the redemptive sacrifice of Jesus Christ. It cannot be earned through human achievement, religious observance, moral effort, or good works.
Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
We affirm the necessity of the new birth, whereby an individual is spiritually regenerated by the Holy Spirit and enters a restored relationship with God.
We believe that through salvation, the believer receives forgiveness of sins, justification through faith, adoption into the family of God, and the gift of eternal life.
We further believe that salvation initiates a continuing process of transformation and sanctification. Through the Word of God and the work of the Holy Spirit, believers are progressively renewed in their thinking, desires, attitudes, conduct, and spiritual understanding.
We affirm that genuine faith is demonstrated through obedience to Christ, love toward others, the pursuit of holiness, and the development of spiritual fruit.
We believe that the saving grace of God is available to people of every background, nationality, and social condition and that the Church has been entrusted with proclaiming this message of reconciliation to the world.

ARTICLE VI — THE CHURCH, SPIRITUAL LEADERSHIP, AND THE GREAT COMMISSION
The Body of Christ, Kingdom Order, Discipleship, and Global Mission
We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ, composed of all who have been redeemed through faith in Jesus Christ and brought into spiritual fellowship through the Holy Spirit.
We affirm that Jesus Christ is the supreme Head of the Church and that every member of His Body has spiritual value, responsibility, and purpose.
We believe that the Church is called to worship God, proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, teach sound doctrine, cultivate spiritual maturity, demonstrate Christian love, and serve the needs of humanity.
We affirm that Christ has given ministry gifts to His Church, including apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers, for the equipping of the saints, the work of ministry, and the building up of the Body of Christ.
We recognize the necessity of spiritual leadership, biblical accountability, godly character, and orderly ministry. We believe that spiritual leaders are called to serve, nurture, protect, instruct, and equip God's people rather than exercise authority for personal gain or control.
We affirm that the Church is both a spiritual family and a community of disciples who are called to grow together in faith, unity, love, and responsibility.
We believe in the observance of water baptism as a public testimony of identification with Jesus Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.
We also affirm the observance of the Lord's Supper as a sacred remembrance of Christ's sacrificial death and the new covenant established through His blood.
We believe that every believer shares responsibility for fulfilling the Great Commission by proclaiming the Gospel, making disciples of all nations, and demonstrating the love of Christ through service and outreach.
We affirm that the Church's mission extends beyond the walls of a physical building and includes families, communities, cities, nations, and every sphere of life in which God places His people.

ARTICLE VII — KINGDOM AUTHORITY, HOLINESS, HEALING, AND DELIVERANCE
Living as Empowered Believers Under the Lordship of Jesus Christ
We believe that every born-again believer is called to live under the lordship of Jesus Christ and to grow in the understanding and application of biblical Kingdom principles.
We affirm that spiritual authority is derived from Jesus Christ and must always be exercised in submission to His Word, His character, and His purposes.
We believe that through the victory of Jesus Christ, believers are empowered to resist the devil, stand firm in faith, overcome spiritual opposition, and live victorious Christian lives.
We affirm the biblical reality of spiritual warfare while recognizing that our ultimate victory rests in the finished work of Jesus Christ rather than in human ability, personal status, or spiritual performance.
We believe in the ministry of prayer, intercession, healing, restoration, and deliverance as expressions of God's compassion and power.
We affirm that Jesus Christ ministered healing and deliverance during His earthly ministry and commissioned His followers to continue proclaiming the Gospel and ministering in His name.
We believe that God remains able to heal the sick, restore the brokenhearted, and bring freedom to those experiencing spiritual bondage. We approach these ministries with faith, compassion, wisdom, scriptural accountability, and dependence upon the Holy Spirit.
We further affirm that authentic Kingdom living is not measured solely by spiritual manifestations but also by holiness, humility, righteousness, forgiveness, love, integrity, and faithful obedience.
We believe that every believer is called to reject sinful patterns, renew the mind through biblical truth, cultivate spiritual discipline, and develop Christlike character.
We affirm that the purpose of Kingdom authority is never self-exaltation, domination, or manipulation, but the glorification of Jesus Christ, the building up of His people, and the demonstration of His righteousness and love.
We believe that spiritually mature believers should positively influence their families, communities, workplaces, and society through righteous living, responsible service, and faithful Christian witness.

ARTICLE VIII — THE RETURN OF CHRIST, RESURRECTION, ETERNAL LIFE, AND THE KINGDOM TO COME
Our Blessed Hope and the Fulfillment of God's Eternal Purpose
We believe in the personal, visible, and glorious return of Jesus Christ in accordance with the promises of Scripture.
We affirm that the return of Christ represents the fulfillment of God's redemptive purposes and the ultimate manifestation of His righteous and eternal Kingdom.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, the final judgment of humanity, and the eternal destinies described in the Word of God.
We affirm that eternal life is the gift of God through Jesus Christ and that those who belong to Him possess the blessed hope of everlasting fellowship with God.
We believe that God is righteous and just and that He will ultimately judge evil and establish the complete triumph of His holiness, truth, and righteousness.
We affirm the biblical promise of a new heaven and a new earth, where God's dwelling will be with His people and where suffering, death, mourning, and pain will no longer prevail.
We believe that the certainty of Christ's return should inspire believers to live with spiritual readiness, steadfast faith, holy conduct, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to the mission of the Church.
We reject attempts to establish speculative dates for Christ's return and instead emphasize the biblical command to remain watchful, faithful, and prepared.
As a ministry, we affirm that our present earthly assignment carries eternal significance. We are called to build believers who are firmly established in truth, equipped for Kingdom service, and prepared to faithfully represent Jesus Christ until His return.
Our ultimate hope rests not in earthly institutions, material possessions, or human accomplishments, but in the eternal reign of Jesus Christ and the fulfillment of God's everlasting promises.
